Christie resides in Auckland. He is a citizen of New Zealand since 2010, having migrated there in 2006 as a Permanent Resident from India. Prior to migrating to New Zealand, he spent 3 years living in Sydney, Australia.

Christie studied ‘Immigration Law and Practice in New Zealand’ at the Massey University, Auckland. He became a Licensed Immigration Advisor for New Zealand in April 2010 (Click here for IAA licence), and has more than 16 years experience in the New Zealand immigration law. He has been a Registered Migration Agent for Australia since October 2022 (Click here for MARA licence).

Christie is experienced in all areas of the New Zealand immigration law. His specialisation are high-risk complex visa applications and appeals that require knowledge, expertise, and strategy skills of the highest level. He will never shy away from taking on a client with a challenging situation.

Christie is honoured to be selected for the Fellowship Programme of the New Zealand Association of Migration & Investment (NZAMI), based on his expertise in specific areas of immigration law, whereby other NZAMI Member LIAs can take his assistance in complex visa matters.

Christie loves watching diverse genres of serials and movies. He has a passion for astrophysics and cosmology since a young age (he holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Astrophysics) and loves to catch up on recent discoveries in astrophysics and space science. He is also into deep sky astrophotography using a smart telescope from his backyard.
