Visa Appraisal

Welcome to the Visa Appraisal stage. You are now entering the success zone!

This assumes that you have already used the generic Points Calculator and have passed the Eligibility Points criteria for migration to New Zealand. And now the time has come to complete the Profile Analysis and Visa Assessment. We call this detailed and critical process as the Visa Appraisal.

Before you proceed any further we must explain more about the Visa Appraisal process. What is it, how is it done, what its results should mean to you, how much will it cost you to get it done and how can you pay us?

So what is a Visa Appraisal?

We assess your specific profile against the current Immigration Policies of New Zealand using a stringent assessment process. It is a thorough assessment process to check whether you meet the minimum eligibility of the Immigration Policies of New Zealand in principle, based on the details provided by you.

It details the strengths and weaknesses of your visa application. It prepares you much better against any prejudicial information which can affect your application.

If you are not eligible for the residence visa now, we could provide you with a fine analysis cum feedback with a detailed outline of what needs to be done to be able to gain new skills or qualifications or experience. A full plan of action.

How is a Visa Appraisal done?

The core of the Visa Appraisal process is the Visa Assessment on your profile to check your eligibility to meet the relevant INZ Policy. This is done by matching every piece of information provided to us against the current INZ Policy. Let us give you a real example how we do this Visa Assessment: While doing a Visa Appraisal for New Zealand - if you claim to have some recognised tertiary qualifications, we would need to get more details about your qualifications by visiting the websites of those educational institutions, checking finer details about your qualifications, match the qualifications to the INZ List of Qualifications Exempt from NZQA Assessment (LQEA), ensure that your qualifications match the mandatory requirements listed under the Long Term Skills Shortage List (LTSSL) and finally ensure that your job responsibilities in your skilled employment/experience substantially match the tasks listed under the relevant ANZSCO Code for your Skilled Occupation and they are also closely relevant to your tertiary qualifications.

Similarly we check for every other information provided by you. We do not leave any stone unturned while doing a Visa Appraisal.

What should the Visa Appraisal mean to me?

Ever heard of WYSIWYG - What You See Is What You Get?

Basically what we mean is: Your Visa Appraisal will be based STRICTLY on the information provided by you. If that is only 90% complete - our Profile Analysis and Visa Assessment might also only be 90% or less accurate.

You need to provide us with as much detailed and correct information as possible. Also, we are not giving away any visa assurances. We are only doing a Visa Appraisal on your profile. A positive Visa Appraisal does not guarantee in any way that you will be granted a Residence Visa finally.

So what is the cost of this Visa Appraisal for New Zealand?

We charge a one-off non-refundable professional service fee of NZ$200 for a Visa Appraisal for New Zealand.

Please Note: If you are located within New Zealand and request for a Visa Appraisal, you will be charged a 15% GST (Goods & Services Tax) on the Visa Appraisal fee, and will need to pay us a total amount of NZ$230.

Our Visa Appraisal results will provide you with:

  • A detailed Visa Appraisal report for New Zealand
  • A review of the strengths and weakness for residence for New Zealand
  • A detailed plan of action and what options are suggested by us
